Consider yourself lucky, I've written a new one. For those that have forgotten, this is what a newsletter looks like and this one is way overdue.

So lets start off with some recent news. In the last two months the guild has been struggling a bit with attendance, this is normal with the European summer, but I am happy to say in the last 2 weeks things have been picking up a bit. We've also gained some new members during the summer and I'd like to say officially welcome to all the new members(including the Belgish invasion ). Wednesday past was also the first time in a long time that our 25man raid had more ranged dps than melee.

We've also had some fun over the past few months with the amazing race(level 1 Character exploring). The first one was won by Mars, the second one by Krullgra the third by Erazion. We're planning on doing this again soon.

As the season changes the guild will be making a few changes. Now sit down and breath deeply, there will be no major changes.

Firstly I will be monitoring raiders EP a lot closer, if you drop below 8100EP as Veteran Raider you rank will be drop immediately, if you drop below 3500EP as Raider you will be dropped to social member. Trial raiders have two month to get there EP above 4000EP at with point they will be promoted to Raider. We will also be doing away with early EP as it's not working as expected. (Effetive date 31st of August)
Tonight I will start going through ranks and adjusting as necessary.

We are busy reviewing the Weekly decay once we're done I will start a thread with our findings and thinking behind it.



Raids on the calender, in order to avoid confusion I would like to ask that nobody accept on multiple characters. Please accept on your main character only if we're allowing alt's for that specific run you will be told when we start inviting.

No shows and late arrivals for raids will now be given 300GP. So make sure when you accept a raid you can attend. Leaving early without notifying the raid leader in advance will also incur this penalty. If you're not available for the entire raid please set yourself as tentative this way we know to talk to you and find out what's up, prior to inviting you if we're sort of people.

We will also start using raid priority inviting again. Priority is as follows.

1. Veteran Raiders
2. Raiders
3. Trial Raiders
4. Alt Raiders
5. Social
6. Alt's

So as you can see if you'd like to take an alt to a raid your priority will drop.

Looting changes, Mains take priority over alts. Calls for loot will look as follows from now on out in order of priority.

1. me ms
2. me os
3. me ms alt
4. me os alt
P.s. Should you be asked by the Raid Leader to use your alt because we're short of something your priority for that specific raid will be the same as mains and thus your call will be "me ms" or "me os"


10 Man raid changes, we've been trying to get more people the Kingslayer title and it's proven difficult. So after a long discussion with the other officers we've decide that we going to keep trying to do this but in a more conservative manner raid team 1 will consist of at least 6 Kingslayers and non-Kingslayers. We will also ensure that there is always at least 1 Kingslayer tank, 2 Kingslayer healers if at all possible and at least 3 Kingslayer dps. This does mean that you won't always be able to raid with your BFF.

My turn to do the newsletter and as you all know, being a woman, i tend to waffle on a bit but bare with me because this newsletter is all about our future plans.

First of all WELL DONE to all those raiders who were involved in kicking Lich King in the balls....great job and Slapper and the officers are very proud of your patience, perseverence and determination to enable the raiding part of our social guild to progress onwards.....
We had a small officers meeting last night and i could tell that slapper was relieved and very proud. And now its time to think of what we need to do next. Well....our guild master is good guy and he wants to see everyone with Kingslayer proudly posed above your heads so this is what he and the officers decided. The raid schedule will change slightly so that we can all get the chance to get the title Kingslayer. It will be as follows:

Monday and Friday will be ICC 10
Tuesdays remain as fun run for ICC 10 so bring your alts along!
Wednesday ICC 25 where we will sometimes lockout to enable further progression with regards to 25 man for the guild.

Look out for further changes on the calender as the officers will decide what to do with the other days at a later date.

Please be patient, everyone will get a chance to go through and get the title but of course we cant take everyone at the same time so priority will go to ranks. The progression teams will be split up and new people added to get the title, but it would be futile to take a whole new group of people in one sitting because it would entail guaranteed wipe fest so the intention is to pull in a few new people at a time for each run. So 2 teams running each week and we should get everyone the title in no time! We may also involve some heroic bosses in ICC 10, maybe starting off with an easy one such as the gunship and then other bosses as we gain experience.

Now that we as a guild have minced through 10 man ICC we will become more desirable for new applications who wish to have a chance to go onto heroic mode. I have created a new macro that i would like EVERYONE in the guild to put out there in trade channel whenever you find yourself in a major city. It is the duty of every guildy to do this to enhance our guild and get new blood in. You can tailor this macro and personalise it but please keep the main content:

OK thats it, i wont bore you anymore lol, i would just like to congratulate Althire and Epics for promotion to veteran raiders. These guys have worked very hard in the guild raids and are reliable and dependable. Well done guys!

Hi Guys,

Just a quick up date. I like to thank everybody for the work in dedication to the guild. We all contribute in different ways.

I am also happy to report that our fish feast ingredients buying program has been very succussfull. We are currently toying with the idea of extending the program to flasks ingredients and perhaps even towards epic gems.

We have also reviewed the half mats and cheap gems for mains. We have decide to change it a little to promote guilds runs. Half mats and gems for mains will now only be applicable to items received on raids with the guild. The mats and gems will be sorted after the raid for 15min. Should you not able to stay after raid please let your raid lead know so he/she can make note to help you at another time. You will need to get your half mats and gems from the raid leader.


I am also happy to say that we've had our first successful run of wacky races. 11 People attended and we ran .... swam in Paul and Friendlyshots case from Goldshire to Southshore. Mars was the winner, closely followed by Sureshot, Kahliex, Krullgra and Wangno with Slapper and Totte arriving a while later and Whosthedaddy dnf'ed ... he got lost Hopefully Kahliex will organise another races soon


As a final note I'd like to remind all our raiders that you're required to raid at least twice a week. We are also now doing 25man runs on Monday's and Wednesday's please guys join us. I've noticed that we always have many people on Wednesdays for the fresh run (easy bosses) and few for the continuation (progression bosses) if this trend continues we'll have to review who we allow to raid with the guild.

Progression is hard and it involves wipes but if everybody waits for the rest to do it, so they can be dragged through, this will only cause to guild to stagnate. People do start noticing who does this and I can almost guarantee you if you do this people will notice and they will be less likely to help you.

Other than that guys, the guild is at good place but we're always recruiting if you have suggestion or feedback please talk to myself or one of the officers.

Hi Guys and Girls,

After monday nights officers meeting we've decide to make some changes to the raiding schedule. As of 1st of July Monday and Wednesday nights will be 25-man this will give us access to more people so we can fill the raid with social members should we need to, as weekends are generally when our social members try to prove to us that they have lives outside of WOW and are generally not available. Friday and Sunday will be 10-man Raids.

The second change we're making is regarding fish feast. In order for the guild to always have fish feast we've decided to start a ingredients buying plan.

The guild will purchase the following ingredients from guilds at the following prices.

Muscleback Sculpin - 30g + 5ep per stack
Glacial Salmon - 55g + 5ep per stack
Nettlefish - 30g + 5ep per stack

Please not that the guild bank will only buy these until the guildbank has 10stacks of each, then buying will stop. To sell fish feast ingredients to guildbank please contact one of our officers.

Please not that the ingredients buying program is being run a trial and could be changed without notices.

Hey Guys,

Just a quick newsletter this week as thankfully we dont have much to report. Firstly i would like to thank all the officers and Slapper for doing a great job lately. We have all been working hard in the background with constant officer meetings in order to manage the guild effectively and constructively. Those of you who dont see behind the scenes it isnt an easy job and our brains are always trying to think up new ideas to help guild progression and make things interesting for you here.

The officers would also like to welcome our new guys to the guild, we hope your stay is an enjoyable one and you love the raids as much as we do. This is an adult guild so you wont see any kids throwing tantrums, just Steve sulking, Keith winjing, Paula griping, Slapper moaning, Paul spitting his dummy out, Nicky farting and burping.....erm anyway

As far as raiding goes, we now have 2 main teams going through to spank the Lich King...hurry up guys we want progression!!!
The thrid team is for main characters who didnt get a chance to raid in ICC during the week with the guild and alts to fill spots if needed. Please Please contact me (Elandrius) if you havent been given a chance to raid in this team or if you have been missed out at all cos i got an old brain and i find it difficult keeping up with you all in raids I would also appreciate any imput you may have with regards to the raids and the way we raid, times days tactics etc...
I would also like people to start accepting raids on alts if you would like to raid with them instead of going on tentative as i have no idea if this means you can definately attend or not. I will not lock the raid out until mondays raid is finished, this way officers can tell me who needs priority to raid with me on Tuesday and priority goes to mains who accepted for the Friday and monday raid but didnt get a chance to raid with the other teams during that week. People who put accepted on my raids tend to get a better chance to raid with me, its not favouritism its just that i am sure you can raid with that character
